First week in Kentucky! It's been great so far!

First week in Kentucky! It's been great so far!

It's been quite an adjustment to missionary life but it's been great! My first day I taught a lesson with a man named Junior. When we went inside there were others watching a movie, so we went outside but there was nowhere to sit. So what does Junior do? He pulls up his BMW convertible, drops the top down, and we had our lesson about the restoration in that haha! It was pretty awesome and he was super receptive. God gave me an easy first day because it hasn't been like that since.

We have spent most of our time finding people to teach. It's either out looking for Africans, trying to get in contact with people, or trying to get lessons set up and people to be home when we agreed upon. But it's ok, we will find people.

My French is going pretty great, but I have to learn Swahili too! The gift of tongues is strong in this mission haha. I haven't been able to get anything to stick yet sadly, but I'm working on it.

We have one friend with a baptismal date for this Saturday though! And we asked another last week if he would accept one, he said he would pray and hopefully he gets his confirmation.

For this week's message. Of course it's EASTER! I'm so grateful for God's grace and love for us. And here is an incredible talk about it. Please give it a listen!

And lastly thank you everyone for supporting me and for your prayers!

Love you all!!
